LAUREN MOLINA @ THE DUPLEX

Unfortunately, I'm going to be in Arkansas doing a show during this time. But if you're in the city, you have to check Lauren out. She has an amazing voice and plays like 122 instruments. Not to be missed! Here's the notice:

Hi Friends,

I hope this email finds you healthy and happy.

I wanted to invite you to my upcoming solo show at the Duplex, May
20th, 9:30pm.

It will be a night of my original folk/poppy whimsical, harmony filled
music, classic musical theatre songs (gotta have Sondheim!), and
rock/pop tunes...And of course I'll be rocking the guitar, cello, and
ukelele.

Please call the Duplex at (212) 255-5438 to make a reservation.
Hope to see you soon!

All the best,
Lauren

Hi everyone!

I hope you will all join me. .

Tax deductible tickets can be purchased at:

WNEP'S BENEFIT CABARET

I will be performing a scene from WNEP Theater's Let There Be Light at their annual Benefit Cabaret on September 29th. Tickets are $25.00 and it's for a great cause. Tons of live performances, food & drink, and even a silent auction where you could win........Haikus. Written by Celebrities. Specifically for this event!

You could walk away with sweet, sweet words written by the likes of William H. Macy, Alfred Molina, or even......

Chuck Norris.

It's a guaranteed good time, so please come check it out. If for nothing else than to see a haiku written incorrectly by Walker Texas Ranger himself.

LTBL BENEFIT PERFORMANCE pt. II

With assistance from Claire Geall and the City of Chicago Dept. of Cultural Affairs, the cast and crew of "Let There Be Light..!" raised over $2,000.00 in two nights of benefit performances at the Loop Theater this weekend.

Company members Amanda Cohen (decked out in 1940's garb to sell her self-made LTBL war bonds) and Rebecca Langguth (who ran the "Split the Dough" Raffle) were on hand, as well as a number of WNEP folks who turned out to support the boys' trip.

"It really exceeded expectations," commented Director/Co-Playwright Jen Ellison. "I wish we could do another night."

The cast will be performing in August as a part of the New York International Fringe Festival and has thus far raised (with the help of a matching amount from WNEP) $3,900.00 for travel and lodging while in the Big Apple.
