ABOUT

Peter James Zielinski has saved Christmas.

He's taken off his clothes for money. He's wooed copious amounts of women. He's enlisted in the army and gone AWOL. He's been buried alive. He's also been hanged, stabbed, and shot, point blank, in the chest. And once he turned into a donkey.

Mr. Zielinski started performing at an early age and has been on stage or in front of a camera for most of his life. An only child, he was born and raised on the south side of Chicago. He attended Illinois State University in a tiny town called Normal, Illinois.

It was just that.

Peter has been seen regionally in numerous productions. Most recently he was seen in The Full Monty (Jerry Lukowski) in New York, Chicago, and Arkansas and in AIDA (Radames) at the Arvada Center in Colorado

Other productions include Jesus Christ Superstar (Judas), HAIR (Berger), Fiddler on the Roof (Fyedka), and The Importance of Being Earnest (Algernon). Also, he created the role of PFC Jeremy Friend in the world premiere of Let There Be Light..! at the New York International Fringe Festival, sung a duet with Richard Chamberlain in the National Tour of Scrooge: The Musical, and starred in the feature film The Zoo Project, which premiered at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival.

Peter is also a freelance photographer and designer. His work has been published in the New York Times and Playbill among others. He is a Staff Photographer for BroadwayWorld.com and is a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals. You can view his work here and here.
